Major Change Initiatives
Matthew has assisted organisations facing major change, to ensure that they have strategies in place to avoid disputation. In some cases, this has involved mediation between individuals and work groups, and between organisations which work in partnerships, to overcome real or perceived differences and establish lines of communication and protocols to address concerns.
Again, Matthew is generally asked to help these businesses develop strategies which are sustainable over a long term and which are “owned” by the business. His knowledge of work systems and decision-making within orgaizations is a vital attribute.
Some organisations have asked Matthew for assistance in changing behaviours and practices to meet legislative and/or client expectations.
In other cases, Matthew has helped organisations change their focus, to adapt to imminent change and deal with threats to their survival.
In all of these instances, Matthew has become actively involved in working with employees as a facilitator, so that the outcome is owned by them in a sustainable fashion.
