Matthew O’Callaghan provides advice to businesses on how they can reach workplace agreements with their employees. That advice ranges from the processes they should follow, to chairing and facilitating negotiating committees. He is regularly asked to assist organizations that have encountered difficulties, in either reaching an agreement with their employees, or achieving approval of that agreement by the Fair Work Commission.
Consequently, his role varies from simply advising businesses to playing a direct role in the agreement making process.
Matthew’s involvement in the Agreement making process covers both Public and private sector organizations. He has extensive knowledge of the Award system and the Fair Work Act requirements for workplace agreements.
Matthew will talk with an organization to help assess the agreement making problem and then develop a strategy which is tailored to address those issues.
